CloudResearch Connect is a paid research platform where people earn money by taking part in online studies. Researchers from universities, companies, and research labs use it to recruit participants for surveys and other research projects.

The platform works more like a research panel than a normal survey site. You create an account, complete your profile, and browse studies that you are eligible to join.

Each study shows its payment and requirements before you accept it. You can also sort available projects by pay and use the dashboard to find studies that match your interests or profile.

Studies can cover many subjects, including consumer behavior, opinions, psychology, technology, education, and social research. Some are short surveys, while others can involve longer or repeated sessions.

The amount you earn depends on the study. There is no single hourly rate because researchers set their own payment for each project.

One useful feature is the platform’s screening system. Your profile information helps researchers find participants who fit their study requirements, which can reduce the number of unsuitable studies you see.

You need to complete identity verification before accessing the full platform. CloudResearch currently uses Verisoul for this process and requires a government-issued photo ID and a photo of yourself.

Payment is one of Connect’s stronger points. You can cash out to PayPal once you have $5, while bank transfers require $25. Amazon gift cards have no minimum, although that option is currently disabled and is expected to return.

PayPal transactions are processed once per day. According to CloudResearch, participants outside the United States can only cash out through PayPal.

The platform has good feedback from many long-term participants, but recent reviews also mention account restrictions and unexpected waitlisting. I would treat it as a useful side income option rather than dependable daily work.
