ShareASale (Now Awin)
Description
ShareASale was a well-known affiliate network that connected publishers with merchants offering affiliate programs.
It became part of Awin and has now been moved into the Awin platform, so publishers who would have used ShareASale now work through Awin instead. The ShareASale platform itself closed in October 2025, but its affiliate programs and publisher relationships have been transitioned to Awin.

Awin works by connecting you with brands that are willing to pay commissions for referred sales, leads, or other actions. After creating a publisher account, you can browse the advertiser directory, apply to programs that fit your content, and get approved by individual advertisers.
Once approved, you receive affiliate links and promotional materials that you can place on your website, blog, social media channels, or other permitted platforms.
The amount you earn depends on the advertiser and the commission structure attached to its program. Some brands pay a percentage of a sale, while others may offer fixed commissions for leads or other qualifying actions. Each advertiser sets its own commission terms, so earnings can vary widely between programs.
Awin currently works with more than 30,000 brands across areas such as retail, travel, finance, and telecommunications. This gives affiliates a broad range of products and services to promote, although individual programs can have their own traffic, content, and promotional rules.
There is a small sign-up deposit for publishers, which is refunded through your first commission payment after you reach the payment threshold. Once commissions are approved and cleared, Awin pays publishers according to their selected payment schedule.
For someone already creating content, ShareASale’s move to Awin provides a way to earn from recommendations without creating their own products. The main challenge is building enough targeted traffic to generate regular sales or leads.
