You start by creating a voice actor profile and uploading samples of your work. Your profile gives clients a way to hear your voice, review your experience, and decide if you fit their project.

Voice123 uses a project invitation system rather than an open job board. Clients post projects, and its system sends audition invitations to voice actors who match the project’s needs. Clients can also search profiles and contact talent directly.

Voice123 does not set your voice-over rate. You negotiate the price directly with the client, based on factors such as the project type, recording length, intended use, and usage rights.

Voice123 also says it does not take a commission from your earnings. You keep 100% of the amount you agree on with the client.

The platform offers Secure Payment for bookings. The client deposits the agreed amount, Voice123 holds the funds until the recording is accepted, and the money is then released to the voice actor.

The payment system can be useful for international work because it handles the transaction instead of leaving you to chase a client for payment. Voice123 says released funds are guaranteed within eight business days, though payment is usually faster.
