Testbirds is an established crowdtesting platform where people can earn money by testing websites, mobile apps, software, and digital products.

The company was founded in 2011 and operates an international tester community. Testbirds is part of the UNGUESS group and works with businesses that want real people to test their products in real-world conditions.

As a tester, you can take part in different types of projects. Some tests focus on finding bugs, while others involve usability testing, interviews, surveys, or giving feedback on how a product works. The exact opportunities you receive depend on your profile, location, devices, experience, and the requirements of each client project.

Getting started requires you to create a tester account, complete your basic and advanced profile, add at least one testing device, and complete the Testbirds Entry Test. Once your entry test has been approved, you can participate in paid client tests that match your qualifications.

Testbirds uses different payment structures depending on the type of test. Usability tests can offer fixed payments such as €10, €50, or more depending on the complexity.

Bug tests generally pay for accepted unique bugs, with the amount depending on severity. Testbirds gives a general earning guideline of around €10 or more per hour when working at a normal pace, but this should not be treated as a guaranteed hourly rate.

You can request a payout once your balance reaches €6. Payments are made in euros. Depending on your location, Testbirds can pay through PayPal or a bank account using IBAN/SWIFT, while some testers outside the SEPA area may use services such as Payoneer’s Global Payments Service to receive an IBAN. Testbirds processes payments around the end of each month, and bank payments can take additional time.

Testbirds has testers in many countries, although the number of available projects can vary significantly by location and profile. Its current tester data includes thousands of registered testers in countries across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and other regions.
