When you create your profile, you can add your professional information and expertise, including information imported from your LinkedIn profile. Researchers can then invite you to studies that match your background.

You can also apply directly to paid research opportunities instead of waiting for an invitation. Available studies can include online surveys, moderated interviews and product tests. The amount you earn depends on the requirements of the individual study, so there is no standard hourly rate for all participants.

After you successfully complete a study, the incentive is added to your CleverX wallet. The platform currently works with Tremendous to provide participants with more than 2,000 reward options across more than 200 countries.

Available withdrawal methods include gift cards, bank transfers, PayPal, Visa prepaid cards, and Stripe, although the options shown to you depend on your location.

Payment timing also depends on the type of research. Incentives for moderated interviews and product tests are generally issued within 48 to 72 hours, although some can take 7 to 10 days. Large online surveys can take longer because responses need to be reviewed and validated before incentives are released.
