ChambaNOW
Description
ChambaNOW helps people find local jobs and paid work without charging workers to use the platform. It connects workers with homeowners, contractors, and businesses looking for help with tasks such as construction, painting, landscaping, moving, cleaning, and general labor.

If you have practical skills or are looking for day jobs in your area, ChambaNOW gives you a place to create a profile, list your skills, set your hourly rate, and show when you are available. You can browse job posts, check the advertised pay, and contact hirers about work that suits you. Some jobs pay by the hour, while others offer a set amount for the whole job.

The platform is free for workers. You do not pay to create a profile, apply for jobs, set your availability, or chat with hirers. ChambaNOW also says it does not take a commission from workers’ earnings. You agree on the job details and pay with the hirer, who pays you directly. This means you should settle the rate, payment date, and other terms before starting any work.
One useful feature is the platform’s English and Spanish translation for job posts and chat messages. This can help workers and hirers communicate even if they speak different languages. ChambaNOW also has a two-way review system, reporting tools, and a Worker Resources page covering fair pay, safe work, and respectful treatment.
According to its founder, ChambaNOW launched in June 2026 and has more than 900 open job posts across US cities. You can browse current openings on its jobs page or look for work by city through its cities directory.

There is one important point to understand before signing up. ChambaNOW does not process wages or guarantee that a hirer will pay you. Check the job details, agree on payment terms in advance, and use the platform’s reporting tools if something goes wrong.
There are no worker subscriptions, registration fees, or commissions on earnings.
Job posts show the advertised pay, helping workers assess opportunities before applying.
Workers can set their own hourly rates and availability.
English and Spanish translation helps workers communicate with hirers.
Two-way reviews help workers assess hirers and build a record of completed jobs.
Reporting tools and worker guidance offer ways to raise concerns about unsafe or unfair work.
ChambaNOW does not handle payments or guarantee that hirers will pay for completed work.
Job availability depends on location, demand, and the worker's skills.
Workers must agree on payment terms with each hirer and may need their own tools or transport.
