About Michael Vincent

Michael Vincent

Hi, I’m Michael Vincent, the founder of MyCashSense.

I’m an affiliate marketer, blogger, freelancer, and online income educator. Through MyCashSense, I help beginners find practical ways to earn extra income and build online income streams that can grow over time.

Everything I share comes from methods I’ve personally explored, tested, or built myself. Some worked better than expected. Others didn’t work at all. Both have shaped how I approach online income today.

How My Online Income Journey Started

Like many beginners, I didn’t start with a clear plan.

I was simply looking for a way to earn extra income online and create more financial flexibility. At the time, I wasn’t thinking about building websites or running an online business. I just wanted opportunities that were legitimate and accessible.

My first experience came through academic writing. I completed essays, research papers, case studies, literature reviews, and other assignments through platforms like EssayShark, Studypool, and TSM Group.

The work wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me skills I still rely on today. I learned how to research thoroughly, write clearly, meet deadlines, and work with clients remotely.

As I became more comfortable working online, I started exploring other opportunities. That led me to transcription, where I worked with TranscribeMe.

Transcription taught me patience and attention to detail, but it also highlighted a limitation I couldn’t ignore. My income depended entirely on the number of hours I worked. If I stopped working, the income stopped too.

That realization changed how I looked at making money online.

I started looking for opportunities that could keep generating income after the initial work was done. That search led me to digital marketing, where I discovered blogging, search engine optimization (SEO), affiliate marketing, and how content websites are built and monetized. I took a digital marketing course through HubSpot to build a strong foundation, but most of what I know today came from hands-on experience by building websites, creating content, testing strategies, making mistakes, and learning what actually works.

After completing the course, I spent weeks reading articles, watching tutorials, and trying to connect everything I had learned. The more I explored, the more I realized that there was only so much I could learn from courses and guides. At some point, I had to stop studying and start building.

Around October 2022, I launched my first blog, which was a simple affiliate website. Looking back, I knew very little. I wrote articles, experimented with different ideas, and slowly learned how search engines, content, and affiliate marketing worked together.

The first few months were frustrating – which is completely normal.

Traffic was almost nonexistent. My affiliate dashboards stayed at zero, and it often felt like I was putting in far more effort than I was getting back.

Then one day, I received an email notification telling me I had earned a commission. I immediately logged into my affiliate dashboard to see the details and found I had earned $4.79.

To most people, that probably doesn’t sound like much. To me, it changed everything.

That commission proved that someone had found my content, trusted my recommendation, and made a purchase. More importantly, it happened while I wasn’t actively working.

It wasn’t about the amount. It was proof that the system worked.

That small commission gave me the confidence to keep going.

Over the following years, I built several websites, published a few articles, experimented with different niches, tested affiliate programs, and learned what helps websites grow over the long term.

Not every project succeeded. Some barely gained traction, while others performed far better than I expected.

Every website taught me something new about SEO, content strategy, affiliate marketing, and building sustainable online income.

Why I Started MyCashSense

As I gained more experience, I noticed something that kept coming up.

The biggest challenge for most beginners wasn’t a lack of opportunities. It was knowing where to start. There were thousands of videos, blog posts, and social media posts claiming to reveal the “best” way to make money online. Much of it was confusing, unrealistic, or focused on selling a dream instead of teaching practical skills.

I knew what that felt like because I had been there myself.

I spent plenty of time researching different methods, trying platforms, making mistakes, and figuring out which opportunities were genuinely worth pursuing. Some ideas never worked. Others took far longer than I expected. Every experience helped me separate practical advice from empty promises.

That’s why I created MyCashSense.

My goal wasn’t to build another website filled with generic lists or exaggerated income claims. I wanted to create the resource I wish I’d found when I was getting started.

Today, MyCashSense helps beginners learn how to earn extra income through blogging, affiliate marketing, freelancing, side hustles, digital products, AI tools, remote work, and other legitimate online opportunities.

Everything I publish is built around one simple belief.

Real online income comes from taking consistent action, learning practical skills, and giving your efforts enough time to grow. There aren’t any shortcuts, but there are plenty of opportunities for people who are willing to learn and keep improving.

Along the way, I also realized that many beginners weren’t failing because they lacked ability. They were failing because they lacked a clear process.

That insight led me to create two resources based on the lessons I’d learned.

The First Dollar Blueprint is a practical 7-day action plan that helps beginners stop overthinking and start taking action toward earning their first dollar online.

The H.E.A.R.T Funnel Formula teaches the process I use to turn helpful content into affiliate commissions by building trust before asking readers to buy.

Both resources were created to make the early stages of online income simpler, clearer, and easier to follow.

What You Can Expect From MyCashSense

MyCashSense is built for beginners.

If you’re trying to earn your first dollar online, start a blog, learn affiliate marketing, find legitimate side hustles, or build an online income stream, you’ll find practical guides designed to help you take the next step.

I don’t believe in chasing every new trend or promoting opportunities simply because they’re popular. Before I recommend a platform, tool, or strategy, I spend time researching it carefully and, whenever possible, testing it myself.

That same approach shapes every article I publish.

My goal is to explain things in a way that’s easy to understand, especially if you’re completely new to online income. You’ll find step-by-step guides, honest reviews, comparisons, beginner-friendly tutorials, and practical advice based on real experience rather than hype.

Some topics cover affiliate marketing and blogging. Others explore freelancing, websites that pay, AI tools, remote work, passive income, or digital products. Regardless of the topic, the goal stays the same: help you make informed decisions and avoid wasting time on methods that don’t deliver.

I also believe it’s important to be realistic.

Building online income takes time. Your first commission might be only a few dollars. Your first blog might not take off as quickly as you hoped. That’s normal.

The important part is building skills that continue creating opportunities long after you’ve learned them.

Over time, those small wins begin to compound into something much bigger.

Helping Bloggers and Content Websites Grow

As I built my own websites, I started noticing the same patterns over and over again.

Some blogs had genuinely helpful content but almost no search traffic. Others had published dozens of articles consistently for months, yet they had earned very little. The problem usually wasn’t a lack of effort. It was those small issues across the website that were quietly limiting its growth.

Sometimes it was weak keyword targeting. Other times, it was poor internal linking, thin content, technical SEO issues, or missed monetization opportunities. On their own, these problems might seem minor. Together, they can make it much harder for a website to attract readers, rank in search results, and generate income.

That’s what led me to start offering Blog Growth Audits.

When I review a website, I look at it the same way I review my own. My goal is to identify what’s helping the site grow, what’s holding it back, and where the biggest opportunities are.

A typical audit covers areas such as:

  • Site structure and navigation
  • Content quality and topical coverage
  • SEO and AI visibility
  • Internal linking
  • User experience
  • Monetization opportunities
  • Growth opportunities and quick wins

You won’t receive a generic automated report or a long list of technical jargon.

Instead, you’ll get practical, personalized recommendations that explain what to improve, why it matters, and which changes are likely to have the biggest impact. I aim to help you focus on the work that moves your website forward instead of guessing what to fix next.

If you’ve been publishing consistently but your traffic, rankings, or earnings aren’t growing the way you expected, a fresh set of experienced eyes can often uncover opportunities that are easy to miss when you’re working on your own site every day.

If that sounds like where you are right now, I’d be happy to take a look. You can learn more about my Blog Growth Audit service here.
